WELCOME!

Welcome to Rad Knowledge Blooms. This site has been making in the making for many years due to all of the resources that I’ve had available to me. When I became a technologist in the radiology field, I wanted to give those resources back to help others, as it’s something that’s near and dear to my heart. There are so many questions, explanations, and examples that happen in school during online reviews. Before boards and after boards that help you become a technologist in your own great knowledge. My hope for this site is very high. I plan to have materials on many modalities, including CT MRI, mammogram General x-ray, and hopefully, possibly dexa. I want this to be a one site for all the different review materials holding the same formatting for all of them. That was something that I found during all of my reviews of every single review site. The quiz-type material was all different. I want something straightforward, straight across the board to help it make it be easier to move forward, to go back to rock, those boards, all those things.

Beyond that, I love helping others within this field, and I want to be an asset and a support for that, so I also want to be able to have tutoring available. For individuals in any modality that needs just a little hands on help, right? Needs something more than a blog post, a material guide, a quiz needs more of that interaction to be able to pass that. I’m here for you. I’m in your corner. I think that’s the best. Beyond that, like I had just mentioned, there’ll be this blog on just topics. The little bits and pieces of things that I think make up the radiology field that are uber important to just have a better understanding all and to become a well-rounded technologist. This hopefully will be a location to answer any questions, provide assistance, and overall just stem everyone to be well-rounded technologists.

Okay. After all of that and chatting about my big dreams for this place, let’s get some background. So my name is Morgan Daisy. I have been a registered radiologic technologist for going on six years. Some other background include, I went to Northwest Iowa Community College radiology program right after high school. During my high school years. I also went post-secondary at Ridgewater College and graduated with my associate’s degree in liberal arts. After graduating NCC Radiology program with honors, I went on to pass my x-ray boards and begin my career actually working in the field. Shortly after starting in the radiology field, I began to fall in love with some of the other modalities I went on to obtain my CT credentials, mammography credentials. And my MRI credentials, all with scores in the upper 80 percents. My goal of learning and adapting didn’t stop there. Spending my time throughout my radiology career, getting all of those boards, I also decided that I wanted to go back and achieve to get my bachelor’s.

So I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Capella University in business with a focus on leadership and management. Well, all of that sounds like a lot of background information. The overall thing that I think shows up between the lines is my goal to help. I love volunteering. I spend lots of my time volunteering with an archery group in my town as well as my town festival and a group that volunteers to the youth in the community.

I love getting to give back as well as to share my knowledge and skills. Hence, I hold a lot of it within the radiology field. I love getting to work with students, anyone cross training, anyone that feels like they have a drive to succeed. I’m your person. I love getting to help you. And so being able to grow and develop new techs, students, senior techs, whatever, to become well-rounded technologists is my goal. This field requires skill and time and dedication, and so I just want to be able to be an asset to help everyone grow and be successful.
